(More customer reviews)I have two kids, 5 and 2 1/2, and have owned this bag for 2 1/2 years. The pros are that it's very pretty, sturdy, easy to keep clean (because I unzip the interior lining to shake out the crumbs, and wash it off), full of pockets, and big enough that when all the pockets are full, you still have a lot of space to work with. I carry a cell phone, keys, two juice boxes or water bottles, diapers/pullups, wipes, snacks, toys, and sunscreen or hand sanitizer, an extra change of clothes for one child, and occasionally library books.
My biggest complaint, and the reason I'm only giving it 3 stars, is that it is extremely heavy. I have gone back to using my old burberry diaper bag, which lacks all the function of this mia bossi bag, but it's so much lighter, and so much easier for me to carry with all that gear inside. I'm now expecting my third baby, and the thought of putting even more stuff in my diaper bag solidified my decision to retire this Mia Bossi as a diaper bag, and use it for something else.
I use it for work now, when i'm not with the kids. It's fine as a work bag, big enough to tote my laptop and a few files, plus the normal wallet, keyes, etc. It's still heavy, but without having to worry about the kids, it's fine. Once i have to hold hands, and/or push a stroller, or hold one of them for whaterver reason, it becomes a hassle to carry.
I'm now choosing function over fashion, and trying the Skip Hop Bento Ultimate Diaper bag. With three kids (i'm expecting one more), 5 and under, i have high expectations that this bag will deliver. I will review it after i have used it for a good while.
