(More customer reviews)This is the perfect amount of protection for taking the baby from the car to the house or store. If you are taking the baby out for a stroll in an arctic snow, maybe you would need the heavier weight one. We live in Michigan and our lil Rose Bud stays quite toasty in this and I would worry about her overheating if we got the original one. It is quite easy to install on our Britax infant seat, and I as a dad like the simplicity and lack of need for tucking a blanket in with her. I am not a fashionista, but the sassy pink looks just fine and was a good deal at the lower price for this color. It doesn't match the Cowmooflauge baby seat, but it isn't overbearing or neon.
