A caring friend convinced me to at least buy a bouncy/vibrating chair because there will be times when I will need to put my baby down. So I purchased this seat in the Mocha Butterfly design because the color combination was cute.
I never prepared myself for a colicky baby, but I have one! Some nights there is absolutely nothing I can do to soothe her, and I've tried everything! The absolute best way to get her to sleep at night is to swaddle her tightly, put a pacifier in her mouth, and place her in this chair. I assist with the bouncing because she is too young to do it on her own, and I turn the vibration on. Like previous reviews have stated, the battery lasts an extraordinary amount of time (my daughter is 7 weeks old and I'm still on the first battery). I just take the bar with the butterfly off so that I can get her in and out easier. She's too young to care about them yet anyway. If you are looking for a nice chair that is affordable I would highly recommend this one. It has everything you need.
