(More customer reviews)I bought this carrier because I was having back pain with the baby bjorn and thought that the hip belt on this carrier would solve my problems. The first time I put my 5 month old son in it facing forward, he was too short for the carrier and so I read the instructions to twist the shoulder straps once and did so. My son fell asleep in this carrier (which is a bit awkward because there is no padding for their head to rest on if they are facing forward) and I didn't think anything of it. About 30 minutes later my husband looked over and saw that his one leg had turned completely blue (i.e. the carrier was cutting off his circulation). This experience was very scary for me because if my husband had not been there, I don't know how long his circulation would have been cut off for. I see that this product gets 5 stars from so many people and I do agree that it is more comfortable than the baby bjorn, but because it doesn't have much padding, it can easily cut off an infant's circulation. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but it was very disturbing and I immediately returned this product.
