The ribs in the bowl make mashing food easy, especially in a restaurant when I order steamed vegies for the baby, although I usually take homemade food and let it thaw in this container when out. The only problem is there is no place to hook the spoon and it falls in the food and gets lost all the time. The spoon is a great shape for a little baby mouth and it scrapes off the excess food from baby's chin like a champ!
